Opening hours.
The practice is open on weekdays from 8:00 till 17:00 on. On Wednesday we close at 12 o clock.
Emergency
Call 112 in case of of a live threatening emergency
The emergency phone line of the practice can be reached at 0570-622400 and press 1. On week days from 8:00 untill 17:00.
Injuries or medical emergencies can be dealt with in our practice on weekdays between 8:00 until 17:00.
Please call the practice in advance so the doctor and her team can prepare for your arrival.
Making an appointment
Consultation hours are on weekdays. This applies to consultation of the GP as well as consultation of the doctors assistent, the social workers (POH GGZ) and the nurses (POH-S).
You can make an appointment by telephone 0570-622400 ,
at the counter in the practice, or online (not by email).
You can make an appointment online through MEDgemak app on your smartphone or through www.mijngezondheid.net. For this you need a DIGI-D code.
Making an appointment is not meant for emergencies. In case of an emergency phone us at 0570-622400 and press 1.
For proper planning please take into consideration the following rules:
- When making an appointment the doctors assistent will ask you some questions about your medical problem. This is done to determine the urgency and nature of your complaints in order to plan your consultation as efficiently as possible. The doctors assistent is medically trained to do so and like your GP, she is bound by a professional standard of medical confidentially.
- There is a limited time per consultation. Only one medical issue can be discussed. If you have more than one question, please inform the assistant so she can plan accordingly.
- To benefit from your consultation as well as possible you can prepare by asking yourself the 7 questions:
1) What is my medical problem?
2) Since when do i suffer from this problem, have I ever had this before?
3) What have i done so far to resolve my problem?
4) What are the consequences of the problem for me, in work or sports?
5) What does the problem emotionally mean to me?
6) Do i have specific concerns?
7) Do i have a specific request?
Weekly consultation ‘hour’ without appointment from 8.00 to 8.30 every weekday
Every weekday you can come to the practice for a consultation without an appointment if you come between 8.00 en 8.30 in the morning. Doctor Smitsman will have 5 minutes per patient. This service is meant for short questions such as: skin problems, contusions, coughing or a sore throat with negative covid test, ear problems etcetera. It is not meant for medical emergencies. She can see 10 people in an hour. If there are more than 10 persons, you may have to come back at another time.
Home visits
If you are physically unable to visit our practice, the doctor can do a home visit. This is in case you are too sick or disabled, please call before 10 o clock. The doctors assistent decides whether a home visit is indicated or not. Please note that in our practice the possibilities for examination and treatment are better than at your home. Furthermore your medical file can be better looked into at the practice.
Home visits are not intended for people who don’t have time or don’t have transportation to come to our practice.
Telephone consultations
For simple medical questions you can call our doctors assistant for advice. If necessary , the doctor will call you back.
E-consult
Through an econsult you can consult doctor Smitsman or one of her employees online. An answer will be returned within 3 workdays. Your question will be dealt with in the same medical confidential manner as a regular consultation. You can sent us your econsult through the MEDgemak app on your smartphone or through www.mijngezondheid.net. You can also find the link on our website. You can find it at the following symbol;
Urine examination
Please bring a fresh midstream urine before 10 o clock. You will receive the diagnosis the same day.
Repeat prescriptions
You can order repeat prescriptions:
- By phone: call the practice 0570-622400 press 3 for repeat prescription
- Through the app MEDgemak on your smartphone
- Through mijngezondheid.net
Result of investigations
- You can call every weekday
- If you have further questions, the doctor will call you back later
- You can retrieve the results trough an E-consult (see above). An answer will be returned within 3 workdays
- If you have more detailed questions please make an appointment for regular consultation
Evening night and weekend service
During evening, night, weekends and public holidays, call for urgent matters only the Huisartsenpost Deventer tel: 0570-501777.
Do not come straight away tot he Huisartsenpost but always make a phone-call first to make an appointment. Make sure you have your insurance and medical information at hand.
